    This thread would be dead if any of us had actually skied, like those lucky SOB's in Colorado.

    But I guess the depth hoar might not be an issue if this stuff sublimates away before the real snow comes in earnest.

    Pretty good. Climbing season is fucked up high due to snow, so I'm just hoping it fills in quickly for skiing. Went gorging today in a bunch of glacial meltwater (I think I was wearing 12mm of neoprene all told).

    The Wednesday dusk patrol was jibbing a homemade funbox by GMD at Alta. A crew of about 8 other riders and I took turns working out the early season jibbing kinks. Not a bad way to spend a half hour after work.
