    2025 DH Fantasy

Here we go again. League name is TGR. Password is spockets because my typing skills are just as broken as this forum. Lots of races this year, so lots of chances to totally fuck up your team.

Thanks for setting it up, I looked yesterday and didn't see it.

Well that was a mess. Both in terms of conditions and my team. But still a fun race. I'm liking the new format with 2 rounds of qualifying and no protected riders. Definitely makes things more interesting. Although having some of the fast guys go earlier in the feed means we don't see as much of their run; seems like they'll need to figure out something there.

Sick race. Seemed fair, with similar conditions throughout. Clearly the better racers won men and women. Worth the $15 Max Tax so far.
    Bummed for Oisin.
Did anyone see the dude running down the racecourse in front of Hattie? That was fuk'd.

Is there a Vital league? I prefer their format.

How many people have given up on TGR forever?????

On a side note, I searched the Vital Fantasy League to see if there was a Sprockets, a TGR, or a Teton named thread. All came up with nothing. So I searched for "dick", thinking that maybe their search feature was broken. There is in fact a team called "Dickheads". So I guess that one's taken.....

Make a Vital league - I'd hop in it. I already have a team going with them.

I wish Vital would close their picks before qualifying. With their format allowing picks up until the morning of finals, it means there's an ~8 hour window, usually on a Saturday, where I have to make picks. I've got better things to be doing on a Saturday than screwing around with my fantasy team. That's a mid-week while at work activity.

My shitty fantasy team notwithstanding, that was a great race. With how tight the qualifiers were, there were bigger time gaps in the finals than I expected. Some of those guys were getting loose.

Also cool to see canada sweep elites. Good to see gracey finally put one together.

That whole weekend was kind of bonkers. Stoked to see Gracey take one.

What is going on with Vali? I mean, she did finish second, but something like that I would have anticipated her to dominate.

The real fast times were crazy in that mid to lower section. I can&#39;t even fathom trusting that pace through that gnar. Made a couple of dumb pics, but scored well.</p>

Quite something watching the big guns struggle to figure it all out. G race and Jackie just having fun riding. Anna is a gem of a human. Cant wait to see her win one

    Canada Canada
    followed by another
    Canada Canada

    Some spectacular racing there.

Someone needs to slap the shit out of Rick.
Josh is getting better with every race.

Red Bull would regularly send Warner to broadcasting school, and they had people feeding him info through every race. Niko says they casually asked if he was interested and that was it. Zero prep. He’s a nice guy, but the difference is stark.

I really appreciate how Rick will interupt his broadcast partners (who are answering a question HE asked) so he can read out the time gaps we can all plainly see on our screen. Sarcasm aside, the camera work is MUCH better this year than any of the recent years' broadcasts.

I suspect he has been instructed to repeat certain things as many times as possible. Or at least there’s a quota.
He seems compelled to say the entire name of the venue as nauseam. Can’t mention a rider without saying their complete unabbreviated team name.

Ok so how the fuck does fantasy work? I had Jackson and Gracey on my team this past weekend and I am still in last place. Did everyone else too haha?

^^^personally, I'm less concerned with picking the winners and more concerned with picking 6 people that are gonna make it to finals. If you have the winners, but none of your other riders get any points, that doesn't translate to all that money points for the round.

Ahh that makes sense. Picking 6 consistent riders will pay off more than having winners and a bunch of others that don't make it into the big show.
