So, uh, I'm turning 40 and the world's coming to an end soon apparently. Soooo I figure this is a good year to go see Antarctica.

Yeah, it's stupid expensive. Friend who skis and went says it was great/worth it.

Looking for a like-minded cabin mate. Minimal snoring, dirtbag/not loaded, tolerable company.

A cruise ship is pretty easy altho those trips are expensive

Obviously with price, the demo isn’t dirtbag ski bums, but IceAxe has been doing this for a while and the skiing looks decent when they get the weather. Definitely super insta worthy photo ops. I’m sure some mag or two has made the trip and can report on it

The crossing is definitely a likely barf fest for most

Funny story not in the tr, got the wife pregnant while crossing Drake back to South America. Most expensive part of the trip, ha!

The drake passage makes me want to barf just thinking about it. I am not great with sea sickness so when the husband asked about an Antarctic trip a couple of years ago I took a pass. That sea passage freaks me out

I have not. Currently wrestling with the fact that they want me to pay an extra 3 grand to ski...on this "Skiing trip". Cheap.
