Poly is what people make it. It is a totally separate forum with a bar to entry, no one forces anyone to go there, read anything or post there. . . If it went away tomorrow then the Padded Room would be the place where those types of discussion would start to take place.

I do not really care if it stays or goes, but that was the original reason it was created, AFAIK, to get politics out of the Padded Room. And human nature being what it is, I find it hard to believe that those discussions would not flood back in if it were nuked. For those who think there is too much politics in the Padded Room right now, AND think PA should go, what do you think will happen? Sounds like you want to volunteer to become a moderator, am I right? For reals, they need more moderators, step right up, it is a barrel of laughs, I assure you.
