Volkl Mantra 88, wider tip, shorter turn radius.

Volkl Revolt 101. 182cm for sure. Little brother to the 114

Not 4d. That was my thought after the M7, but nope. M102 stays the same.

I skied the M88 the last few days, absolutely rips. Skiing the R101 tomorrow. Midwest wet snow... Gonna be sloppy

saw a salomon athlete on next years blank at jackson yesterday, new topsheet but not sure if much changed on the ski.

also boa is everywhere, pretty rapid adoption by the buying public.

interesting on armada boot - not like salmon or atomic (both amer brands with armada) make a cabrio so I wonder who makes it for them?

Tail rocker looked different from what I saw on the new blanks. More reminiscent of the old qst118.

Any word if they are making this in a single boa? Lower boa/upper buckles.

We will be offering the lower flex models (120, 110, 105w and 95w) with a buckle cuff option. We will not offer the higher flex models with buckles as we can not get the same performance from buckles as we can boa. We do not want to offer our premium product in a configuration we know does not perform as well so we will not offer the buckle cuff in those options.

So you're basically saying; take the blue pill and stay with cuff buckles, or take the red pill and a whole new universe will open up for you?

Guess I'll have to try the red pill in times to come. .

I mean that’s one way to look at it

But yeah we believe boa on the cuff allows us to build a higher performance ski boot then can be achieved currently with buckles. So if you want to have the most performance possible give it a try. If you are happy with buckles we will still offer it but at the performance levels we believe they work best.
