Blaming MAGA is like blaming a dog that eats its own shit. They do not know better.

Those not voting could have stopped this from happening.

There are plenty of people who aren't MAGA, who should have known better, who voted for Trump anyway. Far more than required to swing the election the other way. I'm not willing to give them a pass.

Not willing to give the MAGA hardcores a pass either, TBH.

Two times in my life someone threatened to punch me in the face. Both times, I punched them in the face first. Both times it worked.

Heard about the border lines a while back but pretty sure everything has been by treaty or agreement so WTF. Where does the US admin want to redraw?

Florida would be a good place to focus your boycotts:

DeSantis mocks '3.3 million' Canadians who visited Florida: 'Not much of a boycott'
'Maybe they wanted to get a glimpse of what a Stanley Cup winning hockey team actually looks like'

I have been reading stuff where Canadian are pulling out of Florida becuz of the low canuck dollar SO its due to money I would assume anyone seriously invested down thar in a property would not be paying much attention to this if they could afford the $$$$

Hey Canadian maggots, can I ask a favor ?

Next weekend the maggots in the Midwest Stoke thread are having an official TGR Summit at Lutsen MN, that’s near Thunder Bay ON for you guys.

Anyway it would suck for all of us maggots to get stuck on a chairlift when you guys shut off the electricity.

Sorry to have confused you. Let's review.

I said "blame those that did not get off their ass and vote for Harris" for Trump being elected.

(I don't blame those that DID vote for Harris, for Trump being elected)

You said "why not blame both".

I thought you meant blame both, as in:

Blame those that did not vote for Harris

    and

Blame those that voted for Trump

I eventually came around to agreeing with this.

    You want to fight.

(Nothing on the interweb is worth that effort, so no fights for me. You can win.)

    Did I get that right?

Darren You said blame both right after I said I'm a Canadian living in America, that *they are both my country*. I took blame both to mean blame both countries because of that. If blame both was actually agreeing with my original why not both, then I still agree.

Poll as of 25 February 2025. Democrats falling off cliff. US deeply divided with majority supporting Trump and his support growing

And that's why I say to Canadians, Europeans, Mexicans, and the Rest of the World. Don't look for help from the USA. Look towards yourselves for help.

Any expressions of support or sympathies towards non Americans from Americans are just chaff in the wind of a divided country

Lee, I think a big chunk of the Dem falloff is likely Dem voters who are pissed at the party right now, but they'd still vote against Trump in an election.

Trumps favorability went negative in poll averages earlier this week. He's got the second worst approval of any president this early in a term, behind only his rating in his first term. Unlike his first term, he is destroying things people like, the people who don't follow politics just haven't felt it yet, so I expect his popularity to continue falling.

It sucks to see and agree with that sentiment. D's are largely spineless jellyfish set on taking some perceived high road as it crumbles at their feet. Any control regained would not be seen as reliable.

Dem voters could have showed up in November. They didn't vote against him then.

I did say the poll was of 2/25.

Leaving the echo chamber of Reddit of the TGR, it reflects anecdotal data that there's widespread US domestic support for Trump's policies.

Both Trump voters and non-voters share responsibility for Trumps taking power.

I blame non-voters, but since I view MAGA as victims, I can only PITY them.

I consider pity to be far worse then blame.

Glad to have you on the team!
