Maybe he was hoping for a death by cop exit at Mickey Dees. Pretty symbolic.

What's kinda nutty about that is the wide discrepancy from one source to next. His had a different ordering than mine which is more or less par for the course. Probably has to with looking at median vs average etc. USA today, for example, uses BLS data to show top U.S. occupation salaries with yet another ordering:

    Neurosurgery: $920,500
    Orthopedic surgery: $788,600
    Dermatology: $655,200
    Cardiac surgery: $607,300
    Ophthalmology: $597,000

A lot easier to swallow these than $10m for Brian Thompson. Who wants a cheap neurosurgeon?

Posted on Humans of New York on Facebook, pretty much nails how most people feel:

“It’s hard for me to feel sad that the CEO was killed. I’m in social work. So many of the people I see who are homeless have similar stories: they got a debilitating illness, which caused them to go bankrupt, or get addicted to drugs. Meanwhile these health insurance companies are profiting from people not getting the care they need. Millions of people suffer from that behavior. Where is the justice for those people? Maybe violence is never the answer. But this isn’t a question of morality to me. It’s a cause-and-effect thing. This is what happens when people aren’t being heard. The system isn’t working. This is where the government was supposed to step in, but it didn’t. And millions of people were left with nowhere to turn. I’m uncomfortable that violence was used. But also, it’s nice to finally have some pushback.”

    The social worker nailed it.

Nobody in Canada, Australia, France, Austria, Denmark, Norway, The UK, New Zealand, etc, has to go bankrupt for medical bills. Nor is there a Thomson, Witty, Hazen, Sutaria, Adams, and Miller - each sucking more $ yearly than the average citizen will make in a lifetime.

It's not just an "insult to the intelligence of the American people." It's obscene and immoral.

Amazing, no mention of asshole doctors giving you 5 min for hundreds of dollars.

What scares me the most, is everyone just want to go socialized, but no mention of controlling ANY costs.

$50 aspirin? Sure, just tell me about insurance.

As I suspected, the guy basically needed to get laid. Jordan Peterson + Ted Kaz + Andrew Huberman = Incel

His old twitter posts resurfaced too. He's interested in cause and effect, religion, capitalism, climate change, people like Andrew Huberman, Jordan Peterson, Ted Kaczynski. He's reading a lot about the healthcare and pain industry. He's angry with doctors for not providing relief for him and his mom. He's into psychedelics and alternative holistic medicine

This lady says the manifesto was written by a cop with a middle school education and not an Ivy League-er.
