FS: 12 Older Skis, Some Nice Classics, Some FREE Beaters

    UPDATE:
Sale is over until summer. I'm in Colorado now, left the unsold skis in California.

    -

314mm BSL for all the current mounts.

    1) Rossi RC112 188cm - SOLD flat for $150 + ship to mr walker in Silverton, CO
Drilled once for 916s, low mileage, very nice condition. Photo in 2nd post below shows oxidized old wax on pretty nice bases. No scuffs are even worth a photo. (Pssst. I'm selling this backup pair only because my other pair just wont die, and I'm already keeping a spare single anyway.)
    $150 flat

    2) Nordica Enforcer 100 193cm
Barely used, 1 of the 2 nicest condition skis here. Drilled 2x (1x for Pivots, 1x for Griffon Demos). Photo in 2nd post below shows excess recent wax drips on nice bases. No scuffs are even worth a photo.
$150 flat, or $200 w/ Griffon 12 Demos (no slop).

    3) Stockli Stormrider 110 TT 192cm - SOLD flat for $100 + ship to river59, bindings still available
Early pair with 2 mismatched slightly different tail rocker profiles, from a sponsored athlete. Photo of tail profiles in 2nd post below. I didn't notice the tail difference while skiing. Some scratches, one core shot in photo in 2nd post below. Close-up photo of coreshot by request. Drilled 1x (Salomon/STH).
    $100 flat, or $150 w/ Salomon 977 Equipe DIN=14 (bomber)

    4) K2 Darkside 128 188cm
Like new. Skied only one half-day, didn't even finish skiing off the unscraped wax. Drilled 1x (916s). Photo in 2nd post shows black/gray mix of excess carbon wax and regular wax, now with an oxidized look, on almost-new bases. No scuffs are even worth a photo.
    $150 flat, or $250 w/ almost-new ZZ Lab 916s

    5) Salomon Rocker 127 192cm
Skied ~30 days, plenty of scratches, 2 core shots. Photo of bases in 2nd post below. Close-up photos of core shot/scratches by request. Drilled 1x (Salomon/STH).
    $40 flat, or $100 w/ StarWars 997E DIN=14

    6) Black Diamond Megawatt 125 188cm - SOLD flat for $5 + ship to Ed el Loco, bindings still available
Skied a good bit, plenty of scratches, 2 core shots. Photo of bases in 2nd post below. Close-up photos of core shot/scratches by request. Drilled 3x (2x for frame bindings, 1x for Salomon).
$40 flat, or $90 w/ mismatched Salomon 997E DIN=14 toes w/ DIN=20 957E heels (converted to DIN=16 by removing one of the springs)

    7) ON3P Billy Goat 186cm (the very first year) - SOLD for $100 + ship to a Boulder maggot
Good shape now, still a couple of surface scratches, but 2 big core shots repaired. In 2nd post below is a photo which shows a little bit of unscraped wax on decent bases, plus a close-up photo of repaired core shots. Edges are great, and still super-thick ON3P edge metal for many, many more tunes. Drilled 2x (1x for Griffon, 1x for Griffon Demos). (Pssst. I'm only selling these because I'm keeping my 191's.)
    $100 flat

    8) FREE 4FRNT CRJ 188cm - SOLD for $0 to a Boulder maggot
Nasty base damage, and some wavy compressed edges, too. Funny, they skied fine for me in slush, didn't even notice how trashed they are. But you'd feel it for sure on some other conditions. Either put 'em on the wall as decoration, or ski a few days just to understand what the CRJ was all about. Drilled 1x for Pivots. RIP CRJ.
    $0 FREE

    9) FREE Armada JJ 185cm - SOLD for $0 to Dobak, for skiing on rocks in the rocky Rockies
I'm claiming that this FREE ski is much more skiable than the CRJ above. A cash-strapped college kid could have a great full season on these. No wavy edge compressions, but yeah --- if skiing a lot of firm snow, then maybe splurge to sharpen the edges...or not. But the many base scratches are fine for a FREE ski --- if the bases become slow, just wax 'em to fill some scratches with wax. There's a nasty-looking circular base patch where the previous owner did a T-nut, but the base skis fine.
$0 FREE flat, or $0 FREE w/ Rossi 12 Demos

    10) Line Prophet 100 179cm
In nice condition, I see 3 very nice professional p-tex fills, that's it. Drilled 1x for Griffon.
    $40 flat

    11) FREE Rossi Phantom SC 108 195cm
On the base of one tail, there's a little p-tex warp or depression/bubble thing --- so this ski is FREE. I never felt it while skiing, but it's a little bump there when you're waxing with an iron. Also one core shot. Drilled 3x (1x for Salomon Demos, 1x for STH, 1x for unknown). In 2nd post below is a photo which shows excess unscraped wax, now with an oxidized look, on not-so-bad bases --- plus a close-up photo of the core shot.
    $0 FREE flat, or $0 FREE w/ mismatched Salomon S914 DIN=14 toes w/ DIN=17 957E heels

    12) FREE Nordica W105 190cm (same as red W9.1FF)
Bomber construction, 48m sidecut radius for a high-speed rock ski. Nasty damage on one tail (still skis fine). A 3-inch section of sidewall is repaired, but a slight edge compression there. Drilled 2x (1x for STH, 1x for unknown). Cosmetic topsheet chips. Ski 'em as a rock ski, and if you want more edge grip, then sharpen the edges...and either wax or don't---but definitely don't spend money to improve the other wear&tear. (Pssst. I'm retiring this pair only because I'm switching to my other pair.)

Golf clap for good deals on rowdy skis. The RC112s and W105s are absolutely still relevant awesome skis for an aggressive, fall line, fast skier

The early version wrenegade gets talked about a lot as most of the most charging only one speed skis ever made. But those phantom sc 108s give them a run for the money. Someone who’s been doing squats all summer should pick those up for free and see just how high the speed limit is on those. Or more likely how insanely fast you have to go to get them to turn at all.

I’ve got some og 186cm BGs too that I am mostly holding onto for nostalgia. PM me if PlayItLeo grabs VI’s and you’re hand wringing for missing out. Topsheets 7/10 but a section of edge is missing - deep into the tail rocker -and filled w epoxy. Never noticed any effect on performance. No core shots. Other than the minor tail edge issue - all else base/edge related is tip top. This are the lighter of the two builds offered. Too many skis and in the east so could be convinced to release them to a home that will provide them more daylight.

I thought I had a fat ski problem, but apparently not a big enough one. I’ll take the megawatts if there still available.

I've been a big hoarder for ~20 years.
I should probably sell some of my many pairs of silver S900 DIN=16. What price range are they going for nowadays around here?

(Not trying to maximize money here, it's just that I'm pretty busy and would need to know the money is worth my time to do the listing/selling work.)

I'ma say $25 low end for thrashed but fully functional. Up to $100 for new, minty or extra burly in above average condition.
14 works for me, 16 is a treat. Mostly nowadays I prioritize condition because~old. Average or better is my wheel house: 900, 977, 997, equipes, 914, 916, STH1 whatevs.

Pretty sure this is just a small slice of the travelling super-quiver.
    You know, for Science!

Recall stories of skis being mounted in the stairwells of parking garages.
