There's a motel with a pretty decent restaurant near the bottom of the mountain road (Gore Mountain Lodge, restaurant is Beck's Tavern). Nothing special but the location is convenient.

I think there's one other hotel type place with a restaurant that's a little more upscale, otherwise it's Airbnb time.

I trekked from NH to Sunday River today for shits and giggles.
Noticably less snow there than Cannon, which has less snow than Killington and Sugarbush where we skied last weekend.
    Still fun...
    I <heart> hot tele-moms

AVTSB is correct but if you don’t mind driving a half hour there’s lots of stuff a little south in the Lake George area. There’s even one with a big indoor water park if that’s your kind of thing.

You handled it like the trooper that you are… I heard no complaints and didn’t realize how damaged you were. Look forward to turns with you again.

Bring some extra layers… gonna be chilly beginning of next week. I may be up again next Thursday and it would be good to see you and the best skier on the mountain again.

Other than a sojourn or three to moose alley we will be sticking pretty close to “home.” Tough to leave our spot on Green Drake. Hope to get up your way later this season though!!!!!

Would be good indeed! Sounds like there might actually be a sighting of that great orange orb in the sky on Wednesday. We haven’t seen that thing in Vermont for months

Doesn’t look like it slid so much as broke into pieces and crashed. Forgot about Black Hole, always liked that one

Similar elevation, but a good ways further north along the Greens. Yesterday was a great day to be making turns!
