Steph out for game 5. What a bummer, it could have been such a good series.

Should be interesting to see what Boston does next year with Tatum out. Could be a shed cap season of some sort to set up things for his return the following season.

Just read that Cleveland lost a total of 22 games this season counting the playoffs... and 7 of those 22 losses were to the Pacers. Interesting.

Looks like they’d try to move KP and Jrue to get under apron. Jrue has 3 more years at about $30M. One would think they’d try to keep core of Tatum, Brown and White and keep role players if possible. But,Hauser has a contract and keeping Kornet and Horford might be too expensive for what they give.

Im actually optimistic that maybe they can pull themselves together. This is the perfect opportunity. Tatum is out, not playing again this post season. Joe needs to have a come to jaysus speech. Brown and the rest need to work the plays that don't involve Tatum, right? They got loads. Its no longer Tatum's game. Rest Horoford. Start somebody else and bring Big Al in when you need him. That double big lineup just didn't put them over the top.

But if they can't get it together.

My hot steamy take says dump Tatum and build a team around White and Brown. I'm not seeing a clear path for a big. I love Al but he's getting old. KP is good but he's not solid, and he's too skinny. Kornet just doesn't seem like what we need in the post season, apparently, and he's too skinny. Holiday, and Hauser are useful, but again, playoff material? Mixed results for the pay. Absolutely keep Pritchard. Far end of the bench is interchangeable, but has merit. Keep Queta. Not sure what happened to Tillman. Dud or underutilized? Trade Walsh and a few others for spare parts. Schierman and Pederson should stick around for another season. I have no idea who they should pick up for the starting lineup, but they do need to develop some more rookies, they can't forget how they ended up with Tatum and Brown.

Don't listen to me, I'm an idiot.

The Celtics can still take the Knicks without Tatum, especially if -- big if -- KP shows up.

As for next year, hear me out with my crazy idea.

First, the Celtics trade someone to New Orleans to get rights to the 2026 Bucks pick swap that NO owns. It has to be that pick swap (though other picks can be included).

Then, the Celtics trade Tatum, that swap, and some other picks for Giannis. Tatum and Dame are out for a year so the Bucks get to tank, and that "works" because they will have their 2026 pick back, and the Cs get Giannis.

This trade works even though both are second apron teams because their salaries exactly match.

Giannis is going to GSW, they have got to get rid of the Draymond drama.

JFC. Steph and Kerr love Draymond.
Draymond has had Steph’s back, (as an enforcer, and all the other stuff, since he replaced David Lee, and probably before).
I’m a W’s fan, and he drives me nuts, for sure, but I want him out there.

KP is washed. Luke Kornet is a dawg! KP sits, Kornet starts game six.

So we start Luke and Al on Friday, and rotate KP in to rest those two? The whole idea with the KP hire was to be able to rest Al so we could bring him in when we needed him most.

Question is, can Luke evolve in the off season like D White did from 22-23 to 23-24, so it'd be worth keeping him? Because he's got to give more on a steady basis. No question, last night was huge and he stepped up. We need ten more like that this year and something more next year.

As someone who had long Covid, that's my guess for KP as well. Some days were better than others and I could muster up some energy, other days I was just fucking dead due to being sleep deprived.

Is everyone only watching the Celtics? OKC-Denver has been a brawl in some of the best ways. I have no idea what to expect for Game 7. A lot depends on whether Gordon is injured or not.

I&#39;ve been watching a bunch, mostly western conference. Wolves-Dubs was a bit of a rockfight w/o Curry and Dubs bringing super scrappy effort. Almost lost my mind watching Kuminga shoot flames. Didn&#39;t catch the close games in the Cavs Pacers series. Watched 3rd/4th in the epic Tatum injury game. Brutal but an incredible game leading up to that point. OKC-DEN has been awesome. Wasn&#39;t aware of Gordon&#39;s newfound 3 ball. No idea who I&#39;d rather have the wolves face next round. Hate SGA foul baiting style but OKC has seemed vulnerable in certain pressure situations. Denver has its usual depth issues but Jokic is insane and they&#39;ve turned up since regular season.</p>
