    WTB 4+ person camping tent

Looking to pick up a 4-6 person camping tent for relatively cheap. Would prefer to buy a used one instead of something cheap off Walmart/amazon. If you have one sitting around collecting dust, I’m your guy

got a Big agnes tensleep Station 6 if you are interested.

Not used much. I use a smaller 2 person more often.

One broken shock cord if i remember but still sets up just fine

    Located on CO western slope.

Looks like this. Same colorway as well:

    How cheap?

Mountain Hardwear Bridger 4 is only $195 right now with coupon MHWGEAR (and free shipping if you sign up for a free account with them)

I just picked one up to have a big car camping tent as we have a kid coming.

Should be way nicer than a walmart tent (MSRP is like $800), but the price is right.

The 6 person comes to $237.

some good deals on smaller tents and sleeping bags too: https://slickdeals.net/f/17529867-mo...-free-shipping

I’m on the hunt for a 6 person as well, so maybe in line for the Tensleep?

That MH looks like a bit much for my use case.

Check out sierra designs' offerings. Some of the only very large tents that have a FULL fly that are on the cheaper end of the price range. I use the nomad 6 for car camping in the PNW and it is excellent.

They are heavy as shit but in my oh so humble opinion the luxury of a canvas tent can’t be overstated. We have an 8x10 Springbar and I absolutely love it.

From slickdeals.net - if you have a North Face store near you, probably worth checking out:

I actually double guessed myself and grabbed the MH Bridger 6. A lot of tent for the price, hopefully not too much.

I gotta go set up the MH Bridger 4 in the back yard and take a look. Came the other day and the box is big and heavy!

Hopefully I don't regret not just going full car camp overload and getting the 6 since it is probably only marginally larger packed down but a lot larger once set up.

It’s a big boy but it is certainly WAY nicer than any of the Coleman, eureka, or REI kingdome big car tents I’ve set up in the past. Think I’m glad I stuck with the 4 person as the 6 might start to be too hard to find space to pitch (but might let me stand up).

TNF outlet in Freeport Maine had the Wawona 4 on sale for $80. I swing through about once a week if they don’t ship.
