    WTB 2p or 3p lightweight/ultralight tent

Heard good things about the big Agnes copper spur UL3.

    Recommendations also super welcome.

I have some friends who speak highly of Durston tents. Thinking about trying one. Our light single wall makes for a wet evening in a storm (Gossamer).

We have three family members that own the copper spur UL 2. Extensive research before purchase, extensive use of the tents personally at this point. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Don't look at anything else - this is your tent. Good interior space, very light, very strong, Big Agnes warranty. We had two of them easily stand up to a sand battering, all night 70-80 mph gust Moab windstorm. Super easy to set up too.

We've gone through a lot of tents of the years. This one is awesome.

+1 for big Agnes tents and sleep system

Going to add that mtn glow is pretty cool. I bought when it it was on sale but would pay a little extra for it now

I have a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3, brand new with tags. It is a few years old, but has been in climate controlled storage in a closed rubbermaid bin. Say $350 shipped? I'll need to check if I also bought the footprint; if so, I can add it for $50. Thought it would be nice to have the extra room, but always end up just taking the 2 man.

Would also trade towards or buy outright a 1P or 2P ultralight single wall dyneema tent like a zpacks or durston.

I have the 2p big agnes fly creek bikepack tent and hiked the colorado trail with it and it worked well. I got the 3p big agnes fly creek for a trip and have used it a ton. also great. the door is on the short side of the tent, not the long side, so harder to get in and out. i have slept a lot in a NEMO tent and it had doors on both long sides, which was nice.
I have a single wall tent from amazon that stays up with a trekking pole and it works well but I tihnk the BA would hold up a lot better in a real storm.

I’ve got a barely used Copper Spur HV UL 2p tent and accessory Copper Spur HV Hotel 2 that I could be convinced to part with. Very versatile set up, PM me for details.

I have a Vaude Refuge I could sell cheap. Single wall and uses your trekking poles. We switched to the BA CS2 as well. Better vapor control in the spur style tents
