    Furiosa

It's official. Nobody can top the first 30 minutes of Fury Road, not even the guy who made Fury Road.

I enjoyed this film, don't get me wrong. I liked the story. My main gripe is how different it looks on a technical level. Miller wanted to tell a story so insane and grandiose that he was forced to use a shit ton of CGI this time around. The fakery is covered by using an extremely frenetic editing style which is a bit distracting. It lacks the tangible and tactile approach of practical effects. Things are too clean, too shiny, too smooth. Fire just looks plain fake. Sometimes the basic physics seems a bit off. I honestly felt parts of the film looked like a hybrid of live action and animation. A few sequences just did not transition well from story board visualization to the final product.

    Furiosa

God damn, I hated this movie. Loved Fury Road. Hated this one. Actually, one of my least favorite movies I’ve seen in the theater in many years. The CGI sucked, the soundtrack sucked, the characters were idiotic, there was zero emotion, no excitement, no suspense, just a bunch of revving engines. I probably should have seen Garfield. Did I mention I hated this movie?

I didn’t hate it, but it certainly was an unnecessary prequel and I was severely underwhelmed by it.

I was rewatching Fury Road and then came across some behind the scenes stuff on YouTube.

    Pretty cool

I hated that I paid movie theater money to see it. I try to be very picky with what I see in the theaters. This was a total bust.

I used my free birthday ticket from Galaxy Theaters.
But, yeah, I kinda feel like I wasted it (only thing is that it expired in a few weeks and there wasn’t anything else playing or coming up before it expired that I wanted to see…)

I fucking loved it, I don’t know what you guys are talking about. Yeah it had more CG than Fury Road, but I thought they blended it really well, a lot more practical stuff than I was expecting. I was a little worried from what I’d seen from trailers, that it was all CG like 300. Not so!

Funny enough, when I went to see Furiosa in Sparks, Nevada a few weeks back I was greeted by the sight of a man laying out in front of the theater and vigorously working his member into a furious frenzy (talk about different strokes!).
I also got propositioned by a woman at the stoplight a few intersections from the theater parking garage.
Sadly, both of those events were more exciting and memorable than the film…
