    ah fuck rip lee hansche

almost no details. never met this guy but his reputation preceded him anywhere in the northeast, at least.

    - First Ascent pod
    - innumerable routes of all levels in nh
    - dedicated coach and setter and indefatigable access advocate

they’re saying an indoor setting accident took him out.

    unbelievable.

    rip

Indoor setting accident? Did he screw up his self Arrest? ( assuming they're not using lifting platforms inn the states?)
Or was he hit by a volume or hold from above while setting ?

I assume it's routes and not boulder setting.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

from the crappy articles that have been posted it seems that he fell from near the top of the wall while setting. OSHA is going to conduct an investigation. Everything is pretty tight lipped.

RIP Lee. I never met him but have plenty of climbing partners who have and have spoken about how influential he was to them.

I'm very interested in how/what occurred while setting that resulted in his death.

Some gyms use lifts but I do not think this gym did but I could be wrong.
