As a Cochise addict - I'll note this.
The first two years of the OG Cochises (green/brown and brown/gold - call them OG-v1, ) have more tip and tail splay than the next two (blue/red/silver and blue/orange bull - call them OG-v2). The first two are more fun, but less supportive. [A buddy and I share all four and my fav is the 3rd and 4th version - which are, IMO exactly the same. I'd thought that all four years were the same, but they're certainly not, at least not in what I've got.]

The OG-v2 is the most like the 106.

If I had to give up any pairs, it'd be the OG-v1 and the 108 carbon versions.
But I don't, so I won't.

Somebody should grab that M102. I just sold mine for the same price and kinda felt like I was getting robbed. I let them go knowing they're gonna stoke him out and that's what skiing is all about. But I still regret it. That ski is kind of what the Gotama always wanted to be and Volkl did themselves a disservice by misnaming it.
