Much better today for me as well. Pages load within a few seconds vs taking a stroll around the block while waiting.

Well looky here, I can login again.

What was happening was probably timeouts. I'd either get a "check your connection" popup or just nothing but spinning.

A good half an hour of 502 error just now.

The eleven year old kid hired to do this migration should consider a different career path.

I got error 502: Bad Gateway about 3:30 PDT today.

    Damn Bill Gates!

But when I can load a page, it's much better than last week.

What about those dudes in India you can hire online for $20 and they'll design an atomic bomb for you in a day and then ask for a $10 tip? Should we be looking into that?

It still hangs up and I've gotten a couple of 404 errors but overall it's much better on desktop.

    Seems to be getting better?

Xenforo is ultimately the way to go...but it is not free and not necessarily a smooth and easy transition over from vbulletin.

I think most of the larger forums that migrated hired a company to do it and now have ongoing support costs (but...they work great now...so that's the tradeoff).

Subforum loads seem slower than page loads.
    But overall, a slight improvement.

This feels like such a sad ending for TGR forums. It should at least go out in flames of glory, not closing the tab after 5 minutes of a spinning wheel.
