Swirlo - A Maggot Golf Apparel Brand

Launched a golf apparel company several months back and realized I never posted about it around here, as we do have a fair number of golfers. Just starting with golf polos and hats for now. Targeting a balance between classic designs and the extremely loud polos that have become popular of late. Maybe it's your cup of tea, maybe not. But if you see something you like I'm offering a 37% discount to maggots using the code MAGGOT at checkout.

I actually met Viktor recently at TPC Summerlin outside of Vegas and he was asking me about the brand. Super nice guy. Pretty sure J.Lindberg pays him a boat load of money.

^^ That could be fun. We have some pretty nice courses out here in Truckee / Tahoe and could include a MTB element as well. Plus hitting the ball at 6k plus elevation is great for your ego.

Yep Flamingo Queen is sweet, trigger pulled - congrats on the biz J always willing to support a mag! Doesn’t mean I’m going to stop giving you shit for being a Dubs home though.

I plan to golf my ass off this summer to get some of my game back.
Only been playing 1-3 times per year for the last 10 years. Not cutting it.
I volunteered...eh, got roped into, coaching my kids school's golf team last fall, I had to make.l my mantra "do as I say, not as I do" my game sucked. I have to do better.

Debating a Pondy pass vs an upgrade to a TD pass ..
I have to be honest with time available, 2 hrs @ Pondy is so much more doable.

Looking forward to seeing flamingos out there.

For sure. TD (where I live) is a very gettable course if you’re driving the ball straight, but it can eat you alive if you’re not. I’ve shot both 72 and 89 on that course. Everything is so polished now it’s hard to believe they once hosted a tour event (I think Nicklaus won).

But love Old Greenwood, Schaeffer’s, Martis, Incline, Edgewood, Coyote Moon, etc. Nice variety.

Reminds me a bit about the guys that started Loudmouth golf who I played with a couple of times at my brothers club. In any event, I bought a couple of shirts, and good luck with the business. Thanks for the discount.

How about a ski/ golf hybrid pattern?

I'm really liking the palette of the collection. The subtle yet fun stripes. Hats? Back in the day I sold hats to a couple of golf clothing companies. Called on the the VP of the Bobby Jones Golf. Said he wouldn't let his reps waste face time to sell $25 hats when they could use the time to sell $140 shirts. Made sense to me. I went outside for a cig and happened to smoke with the the buyer for their 12 outlet stores. We went back to his office to design some hats and I went home my first of many fat BJ hat orders. I was his margin leader.

    Good Luck. Fairways and Greens.

How’s the XL fit? Long enough to tuck in for 6’4”?

A FKNA shirt would be awesome. You could bring the spirit of Splat to the golf world! It’s the perfect phrase you want your friends to shout when you hole that approach shot.

Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

They run fairly long so yeah, shouldn't be a problem to tuck in an XL. My friend is 6' 4" and wears the XL and it's not an issue.

I like it. I'll make a note to play around with some design ideas.

Thanks for the orders everyone - I'll get them out later today.
