Options to post pics etc no longer shows up

Tapatalk issue: the new posts button brings me to a post long ago in any thread. If I click on a thread, then go to the newest post, then back out of the thread - - same thing happens when I click back into the same thread: back to the same old post long ago in that thread.

Another casualty of not seeing the last unread post. Tried changing the settings back and forth a few times but no luck. TGR app.

They've been informed about the borked photo uploader and the "go to last post" thing not working.

According to the technical guy, the software is really old/out of date (shocker) and so any time they touch/fix one thing, it breaks another. We never did get back to 100% from when they did something to the templates a few months ago (when went through the same fix one thing break one thing cycle).

That's been happening for a while.
Seems that when you wan to quote in a reply you need to double click.

The images and video options are back now, but for photos there's only the insert URL option and no ability to upload (at least on desktop).

Do you guys still use the actual TGR app or tapatalk? On the TGR app I get “Your forum has disable photo sharing from this app”

Tried to load pics of me being awesome, but pic loading from app is still not working, so you will have to take my word for it.

"Manage Attachments" button in "Go Advanced" is gone in Edge browser

Now, when I click on a thread, not only does it take me back to 10/23, but when I click through to the end of the thread to see the new post, none show up till I refresh the page.

It would helpful if people continue posting current issues in just this thread, so we don't have to track 4 different threads to find out what is fixed and what isn't. When it's all posted in one thread it is also possible to point the tech folks to this thread for descriptions of the issues, rather than distill a bunch of posts in a bunch of different threads.

And FWIW, some stuff gets fixed but according to the technical folks, it can take a while to propagate.

The TGR app seems to think the last post was always around 3/17 or 3/18

FYI, I have been unable to login on mobile Safari or Debian based Brave since the changeover. Clicking the box for Remember Me on desktop browser worked to get past the login cycle.

Clicking the remember me box worked to log in on safari mobil and macbook.

The last few days I've have gotten a few various error messages like 401 error gateway too large, etc. but a refresh seems to get past that.

Ok first the good news: the full row of action buttons (quotation, pics, video embed etc) now appears. And typing this now it’s using the normal font again. No weird symbols instead of apostrophes.

Unfortunately the Insert Image button only gives the option to post via URL. It no longer shows the option to post a pic from your device. Which is definitely my preferred approach.

But at least progress is being made.

Now can that same team figure out the year-old problem of the site forum not formatting correctly on iPads?

Btw I pointed out several months ago that I couldn’t log in using the log in button on the main forum page. My workaround for months has been to pretend to reply to a post, which gives me a log in function that works, and then cancel my Reply.
