Got in the ship, buckled in, then got word on the radio that the zone with light had shut down. Back inside, boots off, hung out for an hour, then got word it was back on.

Back in the ship, fly around for 40 minutes, but every LZ in the sun is too windy to land. Got dropped off on the way back and did a glacier/meadow skip run almost down to sea level.

None of the reports coming in had said anything about the wind, so in an extremely gracious move Pulseline didn't charge us any flight hours. I can think of way worse ways to spend an afternoon than a free scenic heli ride and a cruiser run down a glacier with a view of Prince William Sound. Just another day trying to go heli skiing in Alaska.

Probably not. The good skiing here is not conducive to party laps.

Sage was in a different group yesterday. It was myself, another guy, and two guides. He had skied with them before and had a lot of heli skiing experience in general so that played a big hand in them putting us on that line. He was pretty much losing his mind about how good we got it. Flew with Sage today.

Wow can really feel the speed in this video, you hit those noses and just keep going and going. I cant imagine sustaining that kind of speed in soft snow for 3000 ft.

I dunno ... it's like the groomers didn't even touch that part of the hill, and did you see the way Dan flailed his poles around?
