    PSA $2200 Volant Spatulas

I know there is a no eBay posting policy, but this supersedes that rule for one main reason, price.

SIDENOTE: the seller just offered me $100 discount after weeks of following in disbelief and morbid curiosity if it would sell.

I just offered him $50 for the whole setup, told him the bindings were indemnified and was wondering if the $2300 was the cost for the historic value of the skis.

With demo bindings....making this the heaviest setup of all time. Just need some plug boots and Alpine trekkers to complete your skimo setup!

Can confirm. I used to own a pair. My shoulder still hurts nearly 20 years later.

Thank you all for entertaining this post. I would consider his $2100 offer if these were NIP and with 3.5 mounts for Wardens, Jesters, and Dukes (old). but unfortunately the factory option for plugged mounts before being shipped was very limited and these are not that ski.

Do you think he'd take $4400?

That’s how I skied them ! Surprisingly all the weight is right under your foot so swing weight isnt an issue.

Ok the definitive answer for all you weight weenies.
I weighed my spats against my current day pow skis

186cm Spatulas mounted with Salomon 997's (din 11-17)
    18.2 lbs

178cm Salmon QST blanks w/ Salomon STH 16's
    14.6 lbs

1.8lbs more per ski, with completely metal top sheet, fatter under foot, longer.
As Evil E said, the Spatulas are a near center mount so the weight really is not awful. Heavy yes, but could be worse!!
