collinsworth is better in the walmart commercials than in the booth.

also, listened to brady for a while today. not impressed.

a qb is really only as good as his situation. and the vikings have a good roster/coaches

that last pi in the chiefs bengals game was legit.. but mahomes and co do get lots of help from the zebras..

collinsworthless is annoying.. as a fan of Brady, he's really boring right now. I think hell get better, but they put so many restrictions on him it might be hard to let it flow the way it should

So Weeks 1 and 2 are the new preseason?

A quick glance at the scores and standings shows me a lot of really bad football. The Steelers are 2-0 with scoring only 1 offensive TD in 2 weeks? Bengals and Ravens are both 0-2? Baker Mayfield is playing like a League MVP? The only constant I've seen so far this year is that you can count on a game-altering call for Mahomes and the Chiefs in the waning moments of the 4th quarter

Anyone who thinks that play towards the end of the Chiefs game wasn’t PI has zero understanding of the rule. It was textbook and obvious.

It was. It's also fun to get Chiefs fans riled up about something that happens enough to make jokes about it.

Bengals fans have been showing the shortened video of the defender taking the ball off his helmet, not the longer version of his body check of the receiver before taking the ball off his helmet.

LOL, welcome to the Andy Dalton era Panthers fans.

Raise your hand if you knew that Andy Dalton was still in football, much less on an active roster.

No way. The Browns gave up three first round picks and guaranteed the largest NFL contract in history for Watson.

Clubhouse leader in my opinion for sure, but the guaranteed contract piece gets more and more irrelevant with each passing league year when so and so becomes the highest paid player of all time with $x million guaranteed (Watson is now the 11th highest paid QB in the NFL - Has he earned that? Hell no, but the fact remains).

I can live with it not being number 1, but does Denver at least get bonus points for including future draft picks that turned out to be really good after the imploding with Wilson?

Absolutely. They also get bonus points for the massive dead cap hit of $85MM on top of paying him $39MM this year to cover his guaranty.

In complete Pittsburgh Steeler fashion Mike Tomlin gave Wilson a "petty game ball" for the Steeler's uninspired win over his former team; a game in which Wilson did not suit up for.

Browns played the Jags, who had a laughable secondary to begin with, and were down top CB Tyson Campbell as well as SS Darnell Savage. 22 of 36 for 186 yards and 0 touchdowns aren't exactly MVP type numbers, but I guess it was better than week 1?

If you've read anything I've posted for the past 2.5 years you'd know I am far, far away from a Watson defender. That said, he looked like a totally different QB yesterday. He threw a grand total of one pass in the first half that didn't hit a receiver in the hands. I was completely disoriented by the entire experience.

Also, for the record, in the first half the Browns' star WR Cooper dropped a third down pass inside the 10 which would have been first and goal, the Browns recovered a fumble on a kickoff inside the Jacksonville 25 or so which got nullified cause K Hopkins casually ambled across the 50 before the receiving team caught the ball, and two different Browns' secondary guys dropped interceptions in which they were in front of the WR and had two hands on the ball. It really should have been 24-3 at halftime at the worst.

So they Brownsed it, but I guess not enough to change the outcome.

    PROGRESS!!

Ironically, he did actually suit up for the game even though he wasn't active.

That would put a cherry on top. If someone can afford Russ and an o-line at the same time it's going to be thanks to Denver. Petty game ball kinda justified.

To add? To the progress bent, I didn’t realize that his last week went like this:

    Friday: Dad died.

    Saturday: CFB teammate died.

Sunday: Junkshow drubbing by dem Boys.

Monday: New sexual deviant charges drop.

Frankly, I’m surprised Watson even made the start this week. Bag of shit or not, that’s a lot to deal with in 7 days.
