    Indoor Trainer for MTB

Anyone have an indoor trainer that they have hooked up their trail bike to? Is this a good idea or will sweat and such be bad for the bike? We have a limited space and don't have room for a stand alone exercise bike , and our Ripleys are hanging in the basement anyway , so wanted to know how feasible this is

You probably wana change the tire to a slick, I have seen covers that stretch between the bars/ toptube/ seat to deal with the sweat

I use a Wahoo Kickr, and the rear wheel is replaced entirely by the Wahoo dyno and cassette. Uses 12mm thru axle, and is convertible to 142 and 148mm widths (std and boost), by simply flipping the adapters the axle goes thru. Works great.
