He’s been in 6 postseasons… when you are shitty and get knocked out in the first round every year you don’t typically get a ton of games to get the jury on board.

Yeah a huge postseason and title would erase it all. Hate to admit it, like David Price or Kershaw…one good postseason shuts people up (as if the rest never happened).

If Jose Ramirez ever got to an LCS or WS I bet he’d be a stud.

One year ago today (thanks for the reminder MLB.com)

DOWN GOES ANDERSON, DOWN GOES ANDERSON!!!

This extended call is still my favorite of all time, just top rate announcing by Tom Hamilton.

Jose has gone on to continue to be one of the best players in the game and Tim Anderson was DFA'd by the garbage Marlins a month ago. The ChiSox just completed a 26 game losing streak. Did it all stem from that haymaker?

Grady Sizemore, former Indians CF and 3x all star, has been named the manager of the White Sox.

Either I’m getting old or the ChiSox just named a 28 year old as their Skipper.

I wonder if we ever see that again or did Pete ruin that too?

That was around the time that Grady was sending nude pics of himself with nothing but a coffee mug in front of his junk to women (and I think was approached by Playgirl?) so the heckle was very timely.

“He went 0-for-3 in Sunday's loss.”

This is one of those things that just doesn’t show up in the stat line.

meanwhile aaron judge is hitting .483/.634/.828 (but only 3 home runs) this month while raising his average to .328 and his career ops to 1.004.

Throw out that first five weeks and his numbers are unreal. 8war so far to go with a 219ops+.

Even his slumps look pretty good!

What a fucking idiot. He at least seems genuinely sorry and the Sox are donating his salary to PFLAG. Just bracing for more stupid shit he’s said/done to come out now

Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi and Jerry Cantrell all threw out the first pitch tonight at the Guards game with Susan singing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. Pretty cool.

Rosario dfa’ed with Mookie back, I’d really like the Yanks to pick him up.

Also h/t to Betts for making his presence known.

I really don’t like that dfa. Rosario is a better hitter than several other guys. Why not option Pages down instead?

I do like Mookie being back though. 2 hits, 1 HR, and 3 RBI through 7. Also like Kershaw finding his groove again.

Just saw Mookie won’t stay at the team hotel in Milwaukee because he thinks it’s haunted.
