So now they don’t even go thru the motions of actually pitching the intentional?! WTAF

We are coming up on a decade of that rule. And it’s filtered all the way down to the youth level now.

always nice to pick up the season win against the sox. that has to be one of the worst fielding teams i’ve ever seen though, closing in on 100 unearned runs? ouch.

Don't look now, but the Detroit Tigers have an opportunity this week to sneak into the 3rd WC spot in the AL with a series against the 2nd place Royals and the Guardos taking on the 3rd place Twins for 4 who are currently 2 games up on the Tigers for that 3rd spot.

yeah the races are somewhat interesting all of a sudden.

big series coming up with the orioles /yanks and in the nl west the fathers could still make a push if the diamondbacks help them out with a revenge series in la.

it’d be cool to remap all of the races with the various divisional configurations over the years to see if anything would make things really close.

Impressively bad ump in last nights Padres game:

I'm also impressed by crowd size and energy for a Tuesday game, San Diego is hungry for playoffs!

I tried to stay up and watch that game to see how Houston is looking.

Turned out to be a good game, and also turns out I still really dislike Jose Altuve.

Guardos walk it off in 10!

Josh Naylor becomes their second 30-100 man on the team this year and the kids coming off the bench in the 10th bring it home after going down 2 in the top half. Playoff game for sure at the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario!

Man, I love watching this team.

Ohtani is the lone member of the 51/51 club. Absolutely historic season and there’s still two weeks left

Shoutout to Skip Schumaker for realizing what was happening and not walking him.

Before yesterday no player had ever had a CAREER that included a game with 3 homers, a game with 5 XBH, a game with 10 RBI, a game with 6 hits, and a game with 2 steals. Shohei did it in one game! On the night that he created the 50/50 club no less. Absurd.

AAND the Dodgers clinched AND the Giants were eliminated. Good night in Dodgerland.

But dont forget Judge has 2 more homeruns this season and hes the greatest hitter to ever grace a diamond

Definitely an impressive night but have some perspective. First, the Marlins will have 100 losses by Monday.

Also, a three run dong against a position player after slaughtering some minor league pitchers does not make for the greatest offensive day of all time.

If you take that out wouldn’t any of the number of 4 home run games be more impressive if they aren’t already? Green’s 19 TB?

Or perhaps a three home run game that came in an important game like Kiké in 2017 or Reggie in 77?

Also a reminder (don’t forget!) that Judge can be (and is right now) a better hitter and that Shohei can be the greatest baseball player of all time since multiple things can be true at the same time.

Anyway, good show from an obvious 100 year talent.

FKN Reggie in 77 has me twitching...

Feel bad for Bobby Witt Jr. ALmost any other year and the season he is having gets recognized for the legendary stats he is putting up but next to these two hes an also ran in the MVP vote & highlight reel.

Nah, we are just trying to catch up to Dodgers fans after the show you have put on the last ten years. Look at Woodsy’s post for an example.

There's gonna be some really, really sad national sports talking heads if the Yankees and Dodgers don't meet in the World Series.

If the Mets keep putting up 10 every night they’re going to be pretty hard to stop.

    heh.

Woodsy's post took a stupid shot at Judge so ex-pb was "forced" to take a stupid shot at Ohtani.
