    My favorite trail at K-Mart.

Magic was great yesterday. Cooked after 8 runs; was going to go back out after lunch but sat and drank Fiddleheads with Aldo and Biggins instead.

Yeah, quality over quantity for me again this season...not by choice but better than the alternative.

Yes, I love low angle ripper trails like that that have lots of natural features mixed in.

I’ll be at Magic today in off-duty mode with Kid #1 and Kid #2. Maybe I’ll see you for a run or 2?

Sometimes it's best to catch a few big fish and sit back and reflect on them

Nice video there and great to see so many getting out and enjoying it. No pictures again yesterday at Saddleback. I did have the good fortune to meet Avocado Toast and had a couple Orono Brewing Tubular in the bar afterwards.

Hehe, chief of groomers maybe . Hell of a way to end a ski week and ease into vacation: chillin’ with mags new and old after a couple powtastic storm days. Aldo, you’re a good man, and thorough. See you kooks for closing day manana.

I love that Hill. Tuesday turns up high on the kennebago were the highlight of the week for us.

Ha! Jeff with a G caught Aldo sipping on a UC and gave him appropriate shit (not sold at the tavern). Biggins and I were drinking Shelburne's finest. They now cost $10/pint.

Nothing but love, he was correct- that stuff belongs up in the woods at the top of Tali!!

Great seeing and catching up with you B.

Pulled ripcord this afternoon and headed out of dodge - was amused at the conga line headed north, it’s gonna be a bit tight up there Monday!

North facing heights still holding good snow as of this am. Even had a Peruvian-in-the-wild sighting, easily identifiable by his toxic yellow helmet. Great to catch up, even if briefly. And he even saved some surfiness for me!

No action shots, but you can see the creamy goodness in this pic.

Then off to help wifey at work…followed by a full on
assault of the chin with 12 racer kids and 9 racers parents.

Even this little dude did it. He wasn’t sold on the hike, but he made it. I think we’ll be cheering him on in some international events in the future.

    Skiing is still fun!

I haven’t quite seen it all yet, but after seeing a girl *snowplowing* down Black Magic yesterday, I feel like I am one step closer. My kid - who doesn’t yet have a fully developed filter - asked her if she was on the right trail . I was a bit torn between sticking around to make sure she made it out, and getting out of the way of a possible uncontrolled slide. I chose the latter. I figured her boyfriend probably talked her into it, so he can deal with it!

I didn’t see anyone being carted out on a sled on our ride up Black, so I guess she made it

I hear ya, was taking a break at sunshine corner Friday midday enjoying an authorized UC with a buddy. Couple of guys roll up, talking about how hairy the woods run they skied was - too narrow , barely enough room to turn - but they persevered against traffic Down the uphill trail…. .

^ That was a favorite off the map glade/trail long before it became the official uphill trail. So rippable with new snow.

Great to see you out there, Laps. Sorry our timing worked out poorly and we didn’t get to ski together. The conditions were spectacular up high and I was able to show a pal from So VT some of the goods we have in these parts.

Double duty heading over to Stowe for the PM shift is a solid effort. Well done!
