Quick reminder that parking passes for the vill go on sale next Tuesday, Sept 17th, 1:00PM.

Anyone happen to remember what TVA defines as "peak" times? IIRC it's every weekend, possibly including Fridays, from first weekend after New Years through mid March? Trying to get the maths penciled out.

We’re planning to head up to Beartooth to camp and ride Line Creek Plateau this weekend or else we would join.
Have any of you done that ride before?
Dang we were just up there, looking for someone to shuttle with. We ended up riding up and back from the bottom. How did it go?

No doubt. Read a different article from News&Guide about it yesterday that placed a lot of emphasis on the corner he cut and how it's viewed by other FKT athletes as well as the park service. Said the record was rejected. Personally I have no dog in that fight. It's an incredible feat either way, don't think I could ascend/descend the village in that time lol.

He cut out a switchback that was loaded with slow movers ahead of him. And because of that, he likely won't get the fastest time... for using a shortcut.

Congratulations Kevo and Mrs. Kevo/ Great shot from the Ghee rim and nice touch with the sandals.

Anyone going to the show this weekend?

Wow, that pretty awesome. What was your total elevation gain, like 6500?

Nothing like that. Probably around 3100'. We didn't go all the way to upper trailhead.

And congrats to Kevo and to the Suits. Seems like last winter that we took those little girls on a short pass tour...

That was a really fun day for Mimi and me! I never did get the girls to embrace the uphill part of skiing. Now that they're grown up they realize how lucky they were to grow up in Jackson.

    Motherfucker.

I was too late for a parking pass. remembered it en route home and got stuck in traffic.

I might have to go renegade on 'em and pull out my old commando parking trix.

I'd like to be parking up under the Cody house.

How funny is it that the guy who posts the reminder here also forgot.

0 for 2 this year on remembering to buy shit when I should from the empire.

Also don't know how a first come first serve parking pass sells out, but whatever.

Albert did that for several months (actually slept in his car) before he kicked a sprinkler pipe in deslauries building and got a lifetime ban from the village

PS. I have the garage code if you wanna risk it. They haven’t changed it n 20 years.

We ended up not going because Andrew got booked for a tour but yes-that shuttle adds an element to the ride.
Andrew was all gung ho on dropping his road bike and doing the shuttle after our ride but it would be way more fun to do a group ride and shuttle. Probably a next year thing unless we get the right weather but maybe we could do a maggot camp and ride there next summer. We’ve been wanting to check out that ride for several years.

I think it's done for the season. Beartooth Pass got shut down for this storm and that snow isn't going away til spring. But we have unfinished business with that ride now. Let's keep this in mind for next summer.

I'm out of town Oct 19th and would propose Oct 12th or 26th. Those work for anyone?

Going to be tough for me this year, think the only weekends that'd work are Oct 5th or 12th, waiting on some plans to develop and one of those weekends I'll most likely be away.
