    Thank you for your service

Pretty good day considering the limited lifts and terrain.

Also had a great afternoon at burd. Place is riding pretty good, lots of fun hits everywhere. Gad valley is a bigger, rockier place than it gets credit for imo.

I was about 15 chairs behind Dshack, and this was my view just before opening. Yikes.

Truth be told, by 11:30 the singles line was only a 10 minute wait, and by 2:30 there were no lines. Killer day all things considered. Tonightís forecast looks wild. Wild enough that I decided to take advantage of early season rates and sprung for a night at GMD.

glad to see the Alta and Bird crews gettin sum

Basin was great, skied with NBABUCKS and a non mag buddy, soft turns and untracked snow even with very limited terrain options

    We need more lifts open...

I'm gonna bet you know it better than me. I'm criminally bad at learning run names.

We were getting turns by 1030 after the lifts started spinning. Bombed straight over to Sugar and had some amazing runs. No lines when we arrived so did a few laps then over to Collins. Donít think I waited more than 5 mins in singles line. All afternoon I was eating my skis through tracked out low but still incredibly soft. Really really really good day.

It's a screenshot of a video, get over it.

I'm pretty tall and the snow today was over my head multiple times, did not expect this at all, wow.

Can confirm, Alta was firing. Once crowds got on, lifts were quick if not non existent around 2.

Let the chaff uncover the rocks at the start, took the little guy skiing at Albion from 9-11 then went and closed it down.

    Exit was cruiser.

Looking like another late opening shitshow at Alta....anyone braving the wait up there?

Wish there was a webcam on Collins which updated more often

    No Snowbird today.

Plenty of people waiting in line around Collins and Kitty.

I waited at gad the whole time. It was a bummer but the vibe never soured too bad in the line. I've never seen so many snowballs thrown before and I've had a few long waits in that line.

I think everyone was just happy to watch the hill filling in, I was

No Snowbird while Collins/Kitty spin is frustrating. But, yeah, just glad we're building base.

Got to the lower Gad lot at 8:40, booted up and chilled in the truck. Bout 11:20 we see the stream of people walking back to the lot, got the push notification a couple minutes later.

It was probably a good thing as when booting up I noticed my shell overly flexing, freaking boot pivot came apart. Stopped by the SFB basement shop on the way down and hopefully have a replacement piece.

Wasatch 23/24 Stoke Thread: Red Snake Coverage coming at you live from tgapp's fartba

Bird didnít open because Daltons slid almost all the way to the creek. TFW can chime in, but I donít think thatís happened very many times. Iíd say thatís the right call by snowbird to keep it closed. The lack of pre season ski tourers mixing up the snow is killing them.

Also snow like today is why everyone should own a pair of reverse camber reverse sidecut skis.
