If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

This is why I check TGR often and why a 2 hour gap of not checking it makes me a sad panda

We need video evidence of pow ripping thanks to this sale. A gesture to the gods, if you will

Agree with the above sentiment. And from a sale way back Olympus is a stand up mag for sure

Damn that’s a steal! I’d still love to know what happened to my single spat with an s916 lost somewhere on tower 3 at the bird.

Took a minute to get them shipped out but they finally arrived. And they're really as crazy looking in person as advertised. Also not as heavy as expected. Not sure I'll ever ski them but they do look really fun to ski.

You have to ski them, if you've never skied a Spatula.

Still the best ski ever made for weird pow - like wind crust or very heavy high water content snow. I think it's the combination of the weight of the ski plus the pointy tip plus fully reverse camber / sidecut that makes them work.

In this El Niño year, I expect I'll be on my Spatulas when the snow report says a foot of pow at Mt Rose (8200') but it rained to 7000'. Perfect for that.

    Rad!

Anyone know how many years they were sold? And/or how many pairs?
Just read Shane's write-up on them and said 300 pairs were made in the first run.
    Were there subsequent runs?

If you don’t ski those pm me your address and I will come by and stab you.

What’s the point of having nice things and not using them?

    Ski or die!

Best pow tree ski ever made. You have to ski them. Or sell them to someone who will.

I still ski mine each year. This season will be 19 years.

you HAVE to ride them, no choice. right of passage in my mind. ride a few times, let others take for a spin and then pass on when not using them.

    thats the deal.
