Have you considered seeking treatment for mental health? Because there's a lot of recent research showing the underlying cause of people who hold a lot of conspiratorial views is mental health issues. Otherwise, it's just quintessential old dorks who think they know everything, sitting around watching CNN and drinking a beer shouting opinions at the TV. There's a cognitive debt that happens to people who don't really know much about a topic other than the opinions they formed when they were younger.

The biggest example of that right now is comparing the Bush administration’s assessments on Iraqi nuclear fantasies, which were just fantasies, with the very real concrete evidence of Iran's nuclear weapons program. If people want to believe this all just a conspiratorial Iraq 2.0 that's their right. But you don't have a reasonable expectation of saying that without people presenting evidence showing you're factually wrong.

It's a fine thing to be anti-war. Just recognize that the Iranian regime is responsible for most of the ongoing wars in the Middle East. Has an advanced nuclear weapons program.
