It's not a dichotomy because there is nothing humanitarian about uninformed unwitting support for Islamist statelets in Gaza and the West Bank. If Hamas emerges from its war with control over Gaza intact, they become elevated to an undisputed leadership position among Palestinians. Too many people are underestimating the significance of political capital as an impediment to peace.

If you can't tell the difference between Bibi and Hamas then that's a sign 'foreign policy' only exists as a projection of your own domestic political neuroses.

It's not a strawman, you once again made a false equivalency. Too many people in the West are laser focused on Bibi as the problem. That's what's giving Hamas the confidence to prolong the peace process. It's not me saying it. It's what the terrorists themselves are saying. They believe Western proposals will come at Israel’s expense. They see most of the pressure being applied to Bibi, not to Hamas. And so they fight on. As long as they hold hostages they can force negotiations to drag on.

You're quite simply wrong. Biden, for example, promised Hamas would face consequences for the hostages' murders. What consequences have they faced? Instead what's happening is more pressure on Bibi to yield to Hamas's demands.
Instead, the United States should demand Hamas leadership be expelled from Qatar. They're just as responsible as Sinwar in Gaza. Israel should be allowed to further degrade Hamas's military capabilities, pressure should be placed on Hamas leadership to release the hostages, and Hamas should lose its control over humanitarian aid entering Gaza.

And they should be focused on? Ok, maybe Iran also.

Just because Hamas and the PA reject peace with Israel, doesn't mean that Bibi and the extreme Israeli right aren't also assholes, but of a lesser degree.

Hamas broken and scattered to the four winds is Job 1. There's a crew here that seems to forget that in their minute and typically flawed carping criticism of everything Israel does to prosecute the war that Hamas Palestine instigated on 10/7/2023 as part of an ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign to create a Jew-free Caliphate.

Lol. I pulled into the doctors office for my kids appt on Wednesday and there was a Kia Cube with soap writing on all its windows saying "Israel Did 9/11", and it had bumper stickers that said "Never Forget Israel did 9/11" and "Free Palestine" etc, etc.
Kinda a wild site to see at a pediatricians office honestly, like...who the fuck agrees to to a playdate with that persons kid?!? lol.
Anywho, Is Israel any safer today than it was on Oct 8th of last year? Seems like lots of guilty and innocent people have been killed since, and they are somehow less safe with Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah seemingly locked and loaded just waiting for a signal to come....

I notice you haven't changed your tune one note since 10/6 of last year, and no fact will change your stance.
So much for appeasement, amirite?

The pagers came from a new shipment that Hezbollah recently received. They were probably infected with malware. It’s noteworthy that Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Aman was also one of the injured recipients. There are reports a Hezbollah fighter and son of a Hezbollah MP (member of Parliament) died in a pager detonation. Hezbollah members in Syria were also injured in pager explosions.
On a side note, Netflix's 'The Spy' tells the story of a supply chain op

Crazy right? It's like it was a long game, these things were produced and distributed to the right people and then they slept until I just saw the CNN article where it says a bunch of Iranians got blown up too. Iran = Hezbollah = Iran
