Oh, so the guy who selling the skis wants some dentist to buy them and hang them on his wall; otherwise, there’s one zero too many?.

If you flex them the cores crack below the metal. Things get old and dry. Cool as hell though

I would be the opposite of proud if I had those and never broke the wrapper.

Didn’t Heritage Labs build a spatula? Or am I tripping. Either way, Volant could totally cash in on bringing a retro spatula back. Spatula V2 or something.

It'd be V3, wouldn't it? I think all the mass marketed Spatulas are labeled V2. Was the prototype the V1?

As said above I would guess even in plastic spats at this point would all be super sketch to ski. The pair I had didn't appear to get any moisture in them but one the core cracked/delammed really for no reason at all.

Those aren't the V1's those right? Those are tribute skis from after he passed, no?

My favorite part is that shipping isn't free.

It’s a stupid price… but like a year ago people were spending $10,000 on Justin Bieber Bear NFT’s (maybe they still are?)

People doing stupid things with money is nothing new but it does feel like it’s escalated in the past decade.

I don't know exactly, I'm no expert on the generations. But those are the super fat tip, narrow pin tail shape that I thought was the OG Pontoon with a different top sheet. The Pon2oons are a different shape.

This guy said he bought these as a "spare pair". As in a backup.
    I did the same.
Like this guy, I've got an unused, undrilled pair in plastic with the original paperwork.
I've also gotta well used pair I haven't ski'd in a few years.
I'll be keeping an eye to see if someone is actually willing to pay such a price.

I checked the ad to see if they were still up or if the seller came down on the price. They sold 10/27/23, apparently for the asking price since he updated to say his emergency is over and the price remained firm. Anybody here admit to buying them? And if so, please tell us you're drilling them for this season!
