Summit and Eagle County Crowds in Late March
I've skied in Colorado quite a bit during January and February, but never during spring break time. How much of a shit show is it likely to be during the week of March 25th? I noticed that's the week CU has their spring break. Will weekdays be mobbed or not too bad?

Also the spring break crowds tend to stick more to the beginner and base areas

Do yourself a favor and get as FAR away (Beaver Creek) from the metro as you can.

Definitely would like to do at least one day at the Beav. Haven't skied there in many years!

Since your an Epic Loser, I can’t help you.
But I get that it’s pretty hard to pass on Whistler up there.

Yeah, I actually don't have an Epic Pass this season, but one of my friends does so that sort of locks us in. We'll probably stay somewhere like Frisco so we're centrally located amongst the Epic loser areas

Keystone does indeed suck. Breck is actually pretty rad (except for the crowds).
Beaver Creek to too low to ski in late march. Prepare for either ice or mush if you go there.

March 25 is pretty late, you'll be fine. Mid January through late February is prime soul crushing season!
If the East Wall + Steep Gullies are firing, spend a day at A-Basin.

Late March you will want to ski high. Pretty much prime time at Arapahoe Basin and Loveland, and everywhere else is winding down or closing depending on snowpack. Easter is 5/31 so that could be closing for a lot of resorts. Weekdays will be mellow-ish, unless there is a big dump. But shouldn't be too bad. Definitely hit up the East Wall a few times. Eagle county isn't really great that time of year usually. Staying in Frisco or Dillon is a good call. Even staying in Keystone and skiing Arapahoe Basin could be a good call if the end of season rates are good.

Seriously? I would have assumed most resorts stay open until at least mid-April in a typical year.

Summit and Eagle County Crowds in Late March
We go/have gone somewhere at Easter for years….crowds are really never an issue. (LCC/BCC, Mammoth, Squaw, Summit Co., etc)
This Easter I’m in Breckenridge 3/27-4/1…..we stay in Breck, but keep options open for where skiing/conditions are best.)

I think Easter is usually earlier than Memorial Day.
And depending on the snowpack and the whims of the Vail overlords Breck will be open past the second week of April. Conditions will be…. variable.

This year it's going to start snowing in mid November and not stop until the end of April.
