    Just to clarify,
    I was actually trying to reinforce the idea that hydration is important to good health
    ( I just don't remember a cause-and-effect mechanism on one's immune system.
    But with a little more thought, anything that impairs circulation - like dehydration - is going to have an adverse effect on immunity. )

    to all my elderly friends, I preach the importance of Good hydration to Good health !

    I am far away of the 15cups per day.

    Some fluids right after you wake up so you start the day hydrated.

    Back off closer to bedtime - too many bathroom trips at night messes up your sleep patterns. Aim for one middle of the night pee at most.

    If people have really dialed in their sleep, stress, diet, exercise, hydration, and relationship health - and still have free time and energy and money to pursue that final 2-3% boost from fancy supplements then go nuts - but I bet a lot of people are overly focused on that tiny piece while ignoring the foundational stuff listed above.

    Thats how i feel about 99% of fitness/nutrition related questions. Do a halfway decent job of the basics, and then we'll take about optimization.

    Healthy relationships could involve giving and/or taking.

    There was a study on how swallowing someone else’s semen lead to improved health - can’t remember the metric. It’s out there if you want to google it.
