STH16 Mount Pattern
I have an extra set of STH16 CAST plates that i would like to put on my wife's skis. Problem is that she skis at a 7ish DIN, which is lower than the STH16 goes... so are there other lower DIN bindings with the same hole pattern as the STH16?

STH2 13 has the same toe hole pattern, DIN down to 5... but I don't know if they are compatible with the cast plates?

STH-12 Driver is what you need, though the rear toe screws are a slightly different length (longer on STH-12). You could also run low-DIN 900 series bindings that have 4-screw toes like 912 (same toe screws as STH-12), and just won't have a middle "5th" screw in the heel. Avoid versions with spacer plates.
None of the above are indemnified anymore, so DIY swap.

Assuming you mean STH 1 version, any prior year Salomon 9 series has the same hole pattern.
It changed after decades with the STH 2.
900, 900S, 997, Equipes, Drivers.
edit: 1000 O's beat me to it

If you don't care about saving the STH16, you can swap the "fighter jet" upper assembly from an STH12 toe to the aluminum STH16 pedestal. That way you don't have to find longer screws for the rear toe holes in the CAST kit.

Sth-14 has a din range of 6-14 and is exactly the same as the sth-16 except for spring and materials (less metal).
I seem to remember the Sth-12 toe piece had a different afd configuration, but not sure if it’s enough of a difference to make it unusable with the first gen Cast.
Call or email them to ask.

STH14 is exactly the same as STH12 Driver, but with stiffer springs.
To make the AFD baseplate fit the CAST plate, just grind off the front of the AFD baseplate as needed.
