WTB FIS SL
I’m looking for a FIS Sl ski. 165. Used is great but I don’t want some beat ass trainers. Something with a season or two is fine. Volkl or Blizzard. No atomic crap or Rossi.

Those are some fucking classics! OG cares if you rip them.
I have a couple pairs of those bindings but in the 8-18s with steel heels if they implode. Easy mount to the beta plate also!

If you go to the Franconia Ski Club ski swap usually around Nov 11 weekend, you can get piles of last years SL and GS skis, especially if they changed the FIS norm.

Feel compelled to post following the photo of those other fine, Atomic specimens.
goddamn sideways TGR photos...
I don't think FIS has changed the SL minimums for 20 years (GS was where they fucked with everyone and made gear obsolete three times in two years at one point). SL will always be 165 (with no radius minimum).
Those are like the 2000's version of Sally 747 binders. IMO they'll hold up better than some bindings currently being sold (maybe--I don't actually know, but they seem solid, and I'm not sure I ever came out of mine after an embarrassing number of years skiing them, which also only came to an end an embarrassingly short time ago).
But OP, there are probably a few hundred pairs of SL skis available right where you are, so just go on CL or get to one of the swaps.[quote][//quote]

And I guess as long as I'm here, on this topic, I should publicly thank irip for getting me off of those skis and onto something current. Huge tip of the mag hat for going way above and beyond on that one...much appreciated (you need to give me a heads up next time your wife is at West so I can hook her up in some way). In retrospect I don't even know what I was thinking still trying to ski those Atomics (they were good skis, once upon a time, but had way too many days on them).

The atomic with the metal heel is definitely bomb proof. The ones with plastic heel cup are death traps. And I’ve exhausted Craigslist. Believe me on that. Irip claims to be cooking something up for me, but he knows I’m a picky little bitch too…

oh believe me he will come through, I have a couple pairs of sticks because of him already, and a healthy knee. Probably also helps he lives 10 minutes from me and I ski with him almost every weekend. He’s always got something cooking. His Corvus addiction might have something to do with me though.

That's the smaller pile of sticks (Mrs. Rutecki simply averts her eyes and pretends that side of the apt. doesn't exist). Am trying to think of a reason not to part w those binders...can I upsell you to the skis as well? Fun SG sticks. Haven't seen snow for...decades, almost.
