New stones
new album i heard a few riffs and it sounds OK
If anyone cares Tom Power is interviewing Mick Jagger next monday @ 10am on the CBC
For some reason artists all want to be interviewed by a newfy folk singer on the PBSLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

The video for the first single is an 80s throwback.
I like the song well enough, although I’m not super fond of the chorus…

Agree about the weak chorus

I like that first track. I especially like that it sounds like they gave the bass player some freedom. The band sounded complete. Something with Stevie Wonder could be great

this morning pre interview they are interviewing the interviewer , Tom power refered to the Mick as " the mr dressup of english rock n roll "
Tom Power asked if this is the last record and Mick said no we are already 2/3rds of the way thru the next oneLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

yup chorus is where the pedestrian verse needed to take off.
you'd think they had some decent hooks hanging around.
good call using vintage footage. mick's ageless vocals let one forget just how old and wrinkly these dudes are (in contrast to cartoonish hottie draping herself over the benz)
only saw the stones live in 81. and i thought they were so old then!
(5 years into their 30s - damn kids they were!)
