    thanks all !

finished tabulating order fabric needs vs fabric on hand yardage........everything looks good at this point

when we cut the sizes (orders) we may or may not have any missing size issues arise. at this point there appears to be enough clearance between fabric on hand and fabric needed for orders so that there will not be issues

after we get all the hoodies cut, we will go back in and read any notes or requests you guys might have made within the order
comment section. we cant do this now as there are too many balls dropping at once related to the make part

so, we will deal with comment requests and notes at that point.

we still have a lot of time b4 we complete making the hoodies and shipping, so anyone requesting combined shipping and such we will dive into closer to ship out date.

stand by this thread for periodic updates and production pics as we progress.....

from this post: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...69#post6924769 sounds like that won't happen, since the zippers alone take that much time.

Thanks Danno, yes zippers are almost always the hold-up. Worth the wait for quality YKKs.

Honestly why I'm sitting out this round. As much as I enjoy my 4 Brosses...I find myself reaching for other midlayers skiing and touring often because of my love of a top left chest pocket.

Hopefully there is another run next year and maybe there is a chance there could be black fabric?! That would be pretty sweet.

Love the black. Still have the coveted Black Antero2+…and had a black Bross/ but sold it cuz it was a bit too (L)…baggy in all the wrong places…lol.

Ordered a Dark Blue (M) in Wave1…hoping it fits…if not/will just list here for someone.

    chest pocket noted

something i would want to extensively test in field before ever releasing ....

it's not ski pants, so its possible...

i would never want a phone next to my chest with RF and whatever they're putting out and receiving...i always keep my phone in my front ski pants pocket inside a softshell case i made to keep battery warm. it's a lot easier to whip out than you might think.

i dont want a wallet...i carry a id and a cc thats pretty thin and goes in my inside antero jacket chest pocket.

phones and garmins in jacket pockets....right?

Bross was originally designed as midlayer. I realize the 2.0 which had dwr is probably getting used as light touring, but i would not want to be without a polartec regulator as outer layer in the backcountry if it was possible i would be caught in a slide. if i were buried, i would want a real outerwear jacket on to hedge hypothermia/etc......assuming someone was going to be digging me out. if solo, i guess it doesnt matter. if touring flats in no consequence, i can see regulator layer used as outerwear but isnt that dynafit nordic skin tight territory??

hoodies are cut. we were 3 short due coming up short on fabric due to unforseen fabric flaws. we will reach out in the next few days to those that are potentially affected and offer up some alternatives...

YMMV, but I much prefer phone in chest pocket of midlayer rather than jacket for a few reasons. Inbounds it stays much warmer. In jacket it's typically outside of the warm environment created by the shell and gets significantly impacted by the cold. Touring I want it on the midlayer because on cold days I'm often touring in my midlayer with maybe a windshell vest over it. Shell is almost always in my pack unless it's really puking, really (0F) cold, or when skiing down.

^ you may need one of my special A2 softshell phone cases. when i have time i make them from scrap and give them away. one of those will prevent battery drain and cold symptoms. however, if u are running a bunch of background apps and the cell service roams or hits an older 4g signal (or something like that) your battery can go down fast anyway. i am suffering from that right now in non cold environs in a different than home city. phone says 5g but depleting my battery in less than a day while reading 5g.phone battery used to last (as recent as a month a go) a couple of days on full charge. i think its reminding me that depending on a phone in a live/die situation may not be a good thing. i prefer plb's for that IRL, and even then really main plan is to rely on self...which may mean carrying real safety equip like heavy pain meds, splints , tape, clotting chems, etc etc

    Excellent!

Looking to replace a very old Ant2... the old jacket will be relegated to snow blowing duty.

I was MIA the last week or so in the desert recharging. Thanks to Micol for picking up the slack. As you see above, hoodies are underway and Anteros should be in fulfillment and ready to ship very soon. We will post up here when the online inventory is updated. Thanks mags!

fabric looks to be substantial -- the grid looks good

is there a published weight on it? or some idea how it would feel relative to an R1? is it the same as R1?

R1 is Polartec Power Grid. These are Polartec Power Air.

These are weights for pull over hoodies: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/02...g?v=1688509124

Obviously, adding a zipper and pocket will impact the weight, but the above chart should give you an idea about the differences in weight between the two materials.
