If I remember correctly the only ones we had potential forearm/cuff tightness was the Orange fabric with DWR. Very little stretch in that fabric.

no love for the smallest members of tgr, xs patagucci is an fair assessment.

I would be down for an actual 28x28 mountain khaki as well.

I have one of the orange DWR and have no complaints. Love that thing. It is true that with a half inch less fabric my arm wouldn’t have fit through it. There is no chance of rolling/pushing the sleeves up past my forearms. Other than that MT fits like a glove.

Fabric samples were supposed to arrive last night but no luck. Looks like delivery sometime today. Have family in town this weekend but will try to get good daylight photos of the colors and photos comparing this new fabric with some of the previous Bross fabric.

Question, just to make sure I know what to order: sizing will be the same as the last run (this one)? I'm normally a medium in things but the Bross hoodie from that last run fit great in a small. So just want to confirm that I should be ordering smalls this round too.

    Or frequency?

I have three of the FRS hoodies and I would love one for my lady friend since she seems to enjoy borrowing mine.
You can't push up the sleeves, the cuff is too tight. Not a big deal but that sort of sums it up for me. Mostly when washing dishes or releasing fish.
Not sure if this has been brought up before but sometimes these sorts of garmets have a bit longer sleeves and thumb holes. But this doesn't need to be like other garments. And that seems like a chore.
Just visited Burgeon in NH. They make cool hoodies, too. Their thing is you can pick what color drawstring in the hood to make it more funner.
If you have material that is lighter (as in grams) that would be cool.

Orange owner here; can confirm. The sleeve size isn't so much an issue, but the lack of stretch in the cuff is noticeable. Hasn't kept me from wearing it. This layer is in my SAR kit.

MiCol-congrats on the new customers! Not sure if you'll be able to share what those products are and who they're for, but I'm stoked for you!

I'm planning a big FRS restock this winter, can't wait to see the new offerings.

Cuffs on my sand and green ones are both fine. Not the stretchiest, but certainly stretchy enough to pull up to my non-popeye forearms.

I think this is why I didn't order last time, I couldn't figure out what fucking size to order.
Also interested in this answer though as I am also "normally medium."

Last time I ordered a medium and a small, and while I could have lived with the medium, the small fit perfectly and the medium was pretty baggy. When I ordered, I knew I could get rid of one or the other if it didn't fit, and so I ended up scoring a second small from someone and sold the medium. If it is the same sizing as before, I think you'd be a small as well.

So timely. My current conundrum has been that I need a new wardrobe for work as a pro on / off mtn.

I can’t handle wearing any lower quality stuff from pop brands that even hook me up- esp now that everyone has discovered the woods.

(Joey would kick my ass for looking like a beater too…)

Thinking I need to just grab a vest or 2 & one of these in every color.

    Subscribed.

    UPDATE: 8/26/23

Fabric samples in daylight.****** NOTE: Orange, Sage, Neon are from past hoodies and used as comparison of color we do not have fabric to make those colors again, sorrry. We are only making hoodies this round from the new Power Air (larger grid size) fabric swatches shown.*******

Two posts above can you see the pics or just links to attachments? Very first page of the thread is updated and should have visible pics.
