Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Tufnel approved. Why can’t a hurricane be a haberdasher?

Landfall right where my son goes to summer camp at just under hurricane strength. Webcams showing it’s pretty rowdy on the water.

We lost the little beach chair attachable umbrella from the chair on the deck that our cat likes to lounge around in. I should have taken it down but wasn't expecting the wind to be strong enough to carry it away. I guess I need to file a claim for one of these $10 umbrellas LOL

Next time I'll take it down even if we're not expecting a direct hit

Ha! Kid spends enough time in Charleston. I’m just waiting for the day when he’s old enough to realize all the cute girls he’s surrounded by.

3 days of dreary, soggy shit. This is the slowest moving storm in a long time Why doesn't this happen with snowstorms? I'd be good with 10" a day for a few days in a row but an inch of rain a day SUX.

Days away. I didn't realy know the storm was coming until Friday and I had to go away for the weekend so I dragged the bags under an overhang but apparently it rained sideways and big beautiful buds turned into manky brown shit in 3 days. Saved maybe 10 percent of it.

Otis may have decimated Acapulco. Predicted to be a tropical storm but made landfall as a Cat 5.

110mph wind increase in 24 hours. The news tells me this is crazy.
