It’s always interesting to listen to the Fox announcers (Gus Johnson/other guy) trying to play up a shit game like Minnesota/Nebraska….making the players in these programs all out to be NFL 1st round draft picks…
I turned to FL/UT….better game? I like Fowler/Herbstreit better too. (although most everything else on ESPN sucks)
Update* FL is definitely not the program they used to be….yikes.

Remember who my roommate is. She says the same….while she watches games with me.
It’s up to the kids if they want to be part of this sport. Clearly your son will have no part of it and I agree with your parenting there. But it’s entertaining and until someone outlaws football I’m going to watch it.

Keep it up. You guys keep bitching and you're gonna get Joe Buck and Chris Collinsworth calling games with Stephen A. doing halftime commentary.
I still call it The Jake.

My youngest wore us down after 3 years of pleading to play in 6th grade. I was convinced he would quit after taking few hits but ended he loved everything about it. Not a meat head jock kid , just loved the family environment and ended up playing all the way through high school with some decent success. If you lines up 30 kids in his elementary class and said pick the high school varsity QB my kid would have been the last one chosen (including me). You never know what your kids are gonna do.

I slid out of work early and did most of my Saturday shopping this afternoon so I'll be ready to jam wings right at noon.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Whelp, it's just Ark State but good to see we didn't struggle with a mediocre to shitty team they way we did first game of every one of the previous 5 seasons. Brent V's earning his paycheck. Fully satisfied with this effort. Sometimes it took us halfway through the 2nd quarter to get going. Sometimes we'd blow a big lead..Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Independent for Football & B1G Ten for Mens Ice Hockey. Yeah this a CF thread, but realignment for CF isn’t done is my view, where some of the other pairings might be more stable - mentioned in the PAC thread that with the addition of Stanford & Notre Dame the ACC is the soccer conference .

Impressed with coach prime. Players are poised and disciplined. They hold to win the game and acted like they been there before. Go Buffs!
