    divegirl is still a badass

It's that time of year again. Resident red headed maggette and wife of yours truly is once again embarking on some crazy 70/48 SUP action tonight at 7 pm. Tacoma to Port Townsend (70 miles) in 48 hours or less. It looks a bit more challenging this year with lots more headwinds so wish her luck and massive arm and core stamina. Funny how bad weather seems to be better for this race (south storm winds) but sunny weather is not (north winds either from the NE offshore push or NW westerlies as they blow in through the Straight of Juan de Fuca).

I mean, does Divegirl even dive anymore?

Go kick some ass L! And Lego, be ready with some chocolate and encouragement along the way, and have a tray of sushi at the finish line.
Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp

Morning update...approaching Kingston with over 37 miles down and 32 to go. Wind has been awesomely flat so far with glassy seas. Wind is supposed to really pick up later this afternoon though around 4 so it's a race against time to get through the Port Townsend Ship Canal before that.
