Well, I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flyin’
(honestly the first time I’ve ever heard this song in my entire life.)
But be patient with me old man, I’m a lot like you were. And now there’s a library of Neil Young in my iPhone… taking me back to Ohio.)Last edited by gaijin; 05-19-2023 at 10:48 PM.

As an early mid gen Xer, Rust Never Sleeps is what got me hooked. Sure, I'd heard plenty of various NY involved music on the radio, but that double album opened a doorway. I'm younger than some of you old farts and older than the little kids on here.

I first noticed NY when this album came out.
Then really paid attention when this one came out - Mr. Soul still gets played a lot here.
She said you're strange but don't change and I let her

Used After The Gold Rush as background music for a high school video project.
Love Buffalo Springfield
NY is a generational songwriter
But his voice is like fingernails on chalkboard to me
