Is that from Their Eyes Were Watching God?

Sounds like Zora Neil Hurston or Toni Morrison. Was that Sula?

Never mind. Googled it. Neil Young.

Well, I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flyin’

(honestly the first time I’ve ever heard this song in my entire life.)

But be patient with me old man, I’m a lot like you were. And now there’s a library of Neil Young in my iPhone… taking me back to Ohio.)

What's funny is my wife and I were talking about another favorite, Comes a Time, last night before we went to bed.

It's a wonder tall trees ain't laying down.

As an early mid gen Xer, Rust Never Sleeps is what got me hooked. Sure, I'd heard plenty of various NY involved music on the radio, but that double album opened a doorway. I'm younger than some of you old farts and older than the little kids on here.

I first noticed NY when this album came out.

Then really paid attention when this one came out - Mr. Soul still gets played a lot here.

Another Cranky Old Fuck (tm) here
Used After The Gold Rush as background music for a high school video project.
    Love Buffalo Springfield

    NY is a generational songwriter
But his voice is like fingernails on chalkboard to me
