    NRS Slipstream?

I'm getting rid of the ol' Clacka for a raft and have an opportunity to get a Slipstream for a good price.

Has anyone here spent any whitewater time in one? All of the reviews I've read online are just about fishing out of them. I'm considering the 139.

The frame and floor setups look really slick for fishing, but the low bow/stern tubes and lack of rocker makes me wonder how it'd handle class IV water.

Otter was my first choice, but they're backordered for the foreseeable future, as are the E series boats.

rocker and low bow look a little suspect for class IV water......not that most of us are fishing that stuff anyway But depending on pieces of water you fish? ....if you're coming from a drifty you probably are not doing class IV water anyway

This isn’t my first raft. Just first one I’ve bought in a while.

Have plenty of class IV kayak and raft experience.

Alpine Quest Sports in Edwards, CO has a 139 slipstream completely tricked out with all the goodies, all of them, including Cataract oars for $6k. Complete steal. Not my cup of tea, but it's an option for you if you are looking and it's still there. I was there on Sunday and it was still on the floor.

That's MSRP for the Slipstream 139 w/deluxe package (AKA all of the goodies referenced). I agree- good value at MSRP.

This thing had 20 more cupholders and rod holders and other stuff. It was over the top bling.

Here’s a cool little fishing rig. Includes all the fixens…oars, yetti cooler, tornado anchor, nice seats. Would also make a nice paddle boat
