I have a little skills work to do- it’s a tippier than what I’ve been in lately but car-topping is super easy now. Great boat

Nobody I know. That is in Piermont. There a few along the creek there but that is the most photogenic one for sure. I imagine the yard floods at high tide occasionally but the second floor must have a gorgeous view of the river.

Glad my old boat found a good home… lots of good miles under the hull of that one.

Don’t be afraid to weight it down, especially in the stern. I use gallon jugs and fill them with water then put them in the rear hatch. Make sure to dump the water out before loading the boat on the car again. Most sea kayaks like a load to help settle them.

Yeah, I was thinking about trying a little ballast. I like it a lot and I like fast tippy boats in general. I just need to polish my skills up again.

    Nice
I meant to ask how many kayaks you have? I’m at five right now and my wife seems to think that’s too many

I think we've got about 12 total (5-6 whitewater boats and 5-6 sea kayaks). I met my wife when we were both sea kayak guides so she doesn't mind a full boat rack. It's nice to have boats available when friends come to visit.
