Too many I guess, because I had few enough ski days this season and many enough skis that I spent too much mental energy obsessing over which ski I was gonna bring. They're all fun.

    186 4FRNT OG Renegade (122mm)
    184 K2 Reckoner (122mm)
    195 Armada JJ 2.0 (120mm)
    186 Blizzard Bodacious (118mm)
    186 K2 Mindbender (116mm)

MB 116 + cast as a 50/50 ski. Lots of flotation, easier to ski, more versatile/predictable than, but not as fun as the

OG Renegade + cast. Not the best deep snow ski IMO, but it's an awesome soft snow ski nonetheless. It requires cat-like reflexes in any condition, but it is also very sensitive to tip pressure in deep snow, and it's easy to bury a tip on a landing and then go over the bars or lose a ski. I use it often for low angle touring, because it is a very fast shape and makes that kind of terrain fun. The lack of tip flotation is why I picked up the

Reckoner 122. I'm hoping I'll get some of the effortless surf and maneuvering of the Ren here with the flotation of the MB. Hoping this will become deep day ski #1.

Bodacious--still figuring this one out, only have 3 days on it. Can drift turns in pow or rail turns/rage in used snow. Can make your life easy or hard depending on what you're trying to do with it. Reminds me of a fat devastator.

    192 Lotus 138

    184 Billy Goat 2017

    180 Pescado

    189 M-free 118

    187 Hoji 2018 with Tectons

Pescado for low angle untouched snow and carving spring snow.

Lotus for bottomless or wet pow.

    Hoji for touring.

Some overlap between the BG and mfree, but the BG are my all time favourite ski for most soft days at the resort, while the mfree is a bit more surfy(and center mounted) when I get enough speed in fluffy snow. Kinda "center of float" in front of boot for BG vs under the boot for mfree.

I'm natively a snowboarder so my ski quiver is a bit thin:
    BentChetler 120 x 184
    Lib Hemi 112 x 185
    Lib Wunderstick 106 x 178 (touring only)
Hagan Boost 94 x 176 (summer volcano skis)

I'm at home at Baker and mostly just chase pow.

My man-child teen exclusively rides these - I'll take these out occasionally -
    - 188 Praxis Quixote
    - 188 Line Mr Pollards Opus (demo binders so friends can run a powstick if they are visiting during a storm cycle)

    Exclusively mine:
    - 193 Prior Overlords - unmounted and ready in the bullpen
    - 194 Praxis Quixote
    - 194 4Frnt Devestators (my only rr ski)
    - 196 Folsom Rapture

    Got a few fatties

    Moment Donner Parties, 134 x 186
    Volk Ones 116 x 186
Lib Tech Pow Nas 116 x 191 they got a 151 tip which is kinda silly

The Volks and Lib Techs are fun to ski even when it’s not super deep, the Donner Parties on the other hand are really only for the deepest of days, but they are a magical experience when the conditions are right!

One pair of Elam M999s in the back of the closet that have seen a grand total of ONE knee deep 19" powder days in 10 years. It was a leave at 5am day trip to get those goods. 10 years older, if I'm not there staying on the mountain or very close the night before it ain't happening anymore. Owning anything newer like that for me living here doesn't really make sense. A trip west would definitely warrant renting something more modern for sure.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

    118mm - 186cm Bodacious (OG)
    118mm - 186cm Bodacious (reissue)
    118mm - 190 Bibby Pro
    113mm - 190 ON3P Wren
    112mm - 188 G3 Sendr (touring ski)

Considering my current quiver is only 8 skis, 62.5% of my skis are awesome pow skis!

Bodacious is my DD for the Canadian Rockies, with the Bibbys coming out on soft and deep days and my Monster 108s coming out when it gets very firm.

She’s on the 187cm ARG? Or was it a 185cm originally? How heavy are they? Assuming they ski super short with that profile.

I’ve often thought about owning the ARG. I like stupid fat skis, and am ok with lots of tip/tail rocker.

Last year’s 187cm ARG UL version (still ~2,300 gm per ski) are on sale…. and I have some extra Duke PT 16s 125mm that would fit em. Which is typically all the encouragement I need to buy….

    185. They are basically unskiably short for me at 6'4" with their tiny shovels, but my 5'9" wife (race background) loves them for anything deep.

Their size and shape/camber makes them super duper nimble, even in really heavy PNW cement. Much more nimble than protests IMO, but much more terrifying on hardpack too.

They aren't noticeably heavy, but don't think they are feathers either haha. Pretty perfect for deep days in tight/small terrain... Though they were also used by the armada team in AK quite a bit when they came out.

    Moment Deathwish 190 (112 underfoot)

Perhaps the most interesting datapoint is that I only have one ski under 112 mm.

Fatty ratio 75/25. Nice. 70/30 seems to be where always I end up.

    Update:

4FRNT Renegade with Duke PT (122mm waist)

Armada Whitewalker 121 with CAST (121mm)

Armada Whitewalker 116 with STH (116mm)

Line Blade Optic 114 with STH (114mm)

    4FRNT Hoji with Pivots (112mm)
