Those Nobis Inspired skis were some of the most awful skis I've ever clicked into. F they were brutally bad at everything. They felt like dead fish.

Nobis never skied them, I can guarantee you that.

    Wow, this is sad.

Being the same age, and seeing those happy pictures of him as a kid, makes you realize how hard it can be for some to go from that early life of first chair, to last down the hill, no worry’s in life at all, to fucking dying on the floor of a jail cell.

I recently befriended a guy who is/was pretty tight w a number of big names back in the day.

Apparently the family is not releasing the cause of death?

Got approached by my coworker today, his friend is on life support, 36 yrs old. Drinking 2-3 bottles of.rumplemints a day. If he some how survives I hope to be able to help him. Gnarly.

If the partying takes over, it's time to reassess.

Just seeing this now. Really odd that I was just thinking about where and how he was doing a few days ago while purging skis. We never met but my friends in PC knew him.

    Whata turn he made.

This was very sad to see.

My only experience with him was at a Gordy camp in March 2011. He was great, helpful, and it was really awesome to get tips from someone I had always watched on the screen.

Nice obituary in Saturday’s Park Record. I guess there is a celebration of his life on July 22 at 2:30 at the mountain resort.

    Not-sure what you saw schindler-
I found this, published in April.

there's another excellent essay - I think it is on Ig ( ONS) , I believe it is cited earlier.

I hope his friends and his family have a good celebration.

    Peace, Jeremy Nobis.
