So, how much weight is the paint on a frame?

Those Treks a few years ago with the fade paint jobs sure looked sweet.

I'd heard that around 100g for a custom frame to be painted?? Not sure how reliable that is.

Typically a painted and clear coated road frame is 150g more than a raw carbon frame of the exact same specs’
White paint is the heaviest color on frames. It can sometimes be almost 70+ g more than a black painted frame.

I'd heard that some of the more elaborate paint jobs of the 90's (i.e. Schwinn's Bassboat and GT's Crackle) were approaching a pound of paint.
