Good climbing culture in Tucson
Looking for the inside scoop for Tucson climbing….the locations are clear from web searches, but what are the local hangouts / best shops?
The daughter is looking at U of A engineering and climbing would be a big part of her life there.

Can't offer beta on hang outs, but lived and climbed all over AZ for six years. Year around climbing in that state with an amazing variety of rock. Such a great place.

The stronghold is close, remote, pristine, and classic. But there is no scene that I know of. Just tell her to grab a bunch of friends and go camp there and send.
