FS DPS Lotus 138 Flex 2 Rocker 0 192 mounted with Salomon Shift 13

DPS Lotus 138 Flex 2 Rocker 0 192 mounted with Salomon Shift 13 Black. 9/10 condition.

Catch and release. Purchased from L8APX this season then had an abrupt unexpected reality check on what has become an addiction and need to offer these to someone who will get them on-snow. Bases, topsheets, edges are pristine. 9/10 condition with new bindings mounted. Link to detail photos.

Asking what I paid: $750 net plus shipping. SOLD

From L8APZ "Had these for awhile and mounted them this season finally at 315 BSL on the line with shifts. Skied 3 days and have too many skis in this spot. They deserve to see deeper snow more often... They are 192cm... flex 2 black side walls. These are mint and ready to go."

re Flex 2 from another mag: "The flex 2 was preferred in Jackson skiers who needed to pound through 2000ft of odd bumps stuff at high speeds on thier wailers to get to the gondola. And for the competition freebies who had to huck onto ice landings."

    Length: 192 CM
    Dimensions: ?/138/?
    Flex 2
    Rocker 0
Mount: one mount at 315 BSL on the line
    Year: 2005/2006 per Marshal

These are mint and need to go to a deep pow zone so they can live happily ever after. Seller was great to transact with.

For anyone on the fence, these skis rip. Yes they're old and yes there are more refined versions like the Heritage 132s out there but these things are still tough to beat in terms of smiles per hour on a good day. Good slackcountry touring set up too, naked skis should be ~2k grams.

Are those 120mm brakes? I have a pair from Marshall that have had frame Dukes for a decade with 100 brakes. It looks funny with a tiny brake nub over the edge. Thinking of popping on shifts and risking the pre-release. They are the ultimate pow fun in my world, but skinny 203s are fun in pow too. They make it a new game. Even if you only ski them every year or two for a half day, they are worth keeping if you can. The things are magic.

How do I justify two pairs? Insta friend on a pow day. Who wants to try these Loti?

I hate to ask and I'm sure I must be wrong, but are those shifts mounted backwards? The 138s were pintails, no?
edit: must be a funky angle in the picture.

^ They're mounted right, it's the camera angle. Rocker-0 version has pointy tips, as shown.
