Question For The Computer Savvy
I have a .pdf file downloaded from a DVD. I saved it to my computer several years ago. The file is password protected, and over the years I have accessed it, using the password provided by the sender, on numerous occasions. Now, all of a sudden the password won't work. Before you turds ask me if my caps lock is on or other stupid questions, no its not and yes I confirmed the PW I'm using is the one I originally received and used, both from my files and from the original sender.
Why might this happen? Should I chalk it up to fucking Adobe?Quando paramucho mi amore de felice carathon.

Herman, you left out a lot of details.
0) With what are you trying to read the .pdf?
.5) Is it possible you've changed what you're using to open the file?
.75) Can you back to a reader that worked?
.875) What upgrades have occurred on the system you're trying to use to read it? OS? Apps?
1) Are you trying to read the file from the dvd or a copy you put on a disk?
1.175) Can you try to read the original .pdf from the dvd?

have you tried restarting?
Have you tried a crowbar to open the PDF?
Does the PDF relate to Epstein or Hunter?

Any of these work?

Was the password set up with an expiration date? Maybe try setting your computer clock date back a few years and then try opening?

Might you have done a save as to a different folder location and that somehow hosed your stored password?

Copy and paste the password (type it in Word or Notepad type of text program) just to be safe and all. If it still does not work, then the question is what has changed since it was working all along? And the questions about the software you are using to try and open it (Adobe Reader- free edition, Adobe Acrobat Pro, 3rd party package or even had you had Google Chrome with an Adobe PDF extension or some other so package now take over the opening of the .pdf file?

OP, sounds like your drive was struck with cosmic debris, and you didn't have a redundant ZFS array and dual SHA256-encrypted offsite backups.
Shoulda took the money, Toombs.

Hey Irul, are you using adobe acrobat or bluebeam (or something else) to open it? My accountant sends me password protected pdf's made in adobe, and bluebeam can't open them, but acrobat works just fine.
Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp
